    Notes:  Johannes and his wife joined the Red Hook Lutheran Church on 16 May
	    1751.  John was naturalized 3 May 1755.  He appeared on the tax
	    rolls at Rhinebeck from Feb. 1753 to June 1766.

		he mar. CATHARINA HEISER.  Jacobus joined the Lutheran Church of
		Red Hook 4 June 1757.  The will of Jacob Sharp of Claverack was
		dated 9 May 1813 and probated 11 Sept. 1813.

	    2.  JOHANNES SCHERP, was bap. 25 June 1742.  Wit.:  Johannes
		Hartmann - churchwarden and Gemeinsemann at Münster and his wife
		Anna Martha.

	    3.  ELISABETH MARGARETHA SCHERP, was b. 18 June 1745 and bap. at
		Laubenheim.  Wit.:  Anna Marg. Scherp - yet single, and
		Elisabetha, daughter of miller Valentin Jäger.  She poss. mar.

    Notes:  Michael joined the Reformed Dutch Church of Germantown 28 May 1740
	    and the Red Hook Lutheran Church 18 May 1752.  He was naturalized 3
	    May 1755.  He made his first appearance on Rhinebeck rolls Feb. 1753
	    and continued until 1772.

	    All children, except where indicated, were baptised at the Lutheran
	    Church of Red Hook.
