NOTES:  Banns for their marriage were published 15 February at the Reformed
	Dutch Church of New York.  The entry in the church record includes the
	phrase:  "Getrouwt met vertoog na Breuckelen" (with remonstrance after
	Breuckelen).  Michael, a bricklayer by trade, became a freeman of New
	York City on 26 September 1698.  On 5 May 1701, "Isaack Bennitt and wife
	Helena of Gowanus in Brooklyn deed Machiell Vander Koeck of Bedford one
	half of a plantation in Bedford lying next to property of Theunis
	Couverts; another parcel of land between lotts of Jan Gerrits Dorland
	and Paulus Dircke, also one half of a piece of woods formerly belonging
	to Joost ffrance, deceased.  Both sign by mark.  Wit. by Adrian Bennett
	who signs by mark and Jacobus Vanderwater.  Rec'd 6 May 1701 by Jacobus
	Vandewater, Reg."

		COBB.

	    3.  JOHANNES VAN WINKLE, was b. 6 Dec. 1733 and bap. 31 Mar. 1734 at
		the Reformed Dutch Church of Second River.  Wit.:  Johannes Van
		Winckel and Rachel Van Winckel.  On 21 Feb. 1768 he mar. NAOMI
		DICKERSON, who was b. in 1746 in Roxbury, Morris Co., NJ, a dau.
		of Thomas Dickerson and Sara Wager.  Both Johannes and Naomi
		died 13 Aug. 1829 in PA.

	    4.  MACHIEL VAN WINKLE, was b. 6 Apr. 1736 and bap. 11 July 1736 at
		the Reformed Dutch Church of Second River.  Wit.:  Michiel Van
		der Keock and Geesie Francisko.  On 13 July 1758 in Morris Co.,
		NJ, he mar. PHOEBE CARTER, who was b. 13 Oct. 1736, a dau. of
		Nicholas Carter of England.  Machiel died 22/27 May 1808 in
		Lexington, Preble Co., OH.  Phoebe died 12 Sept. 1836 and was
		buried in Sugar Creek Cemetery.

	    5.  CATHARINA VAN WINKLE, was b. in 1739 at the Reformed Dutch
		Church of Pompton Plains.  Wit.:  Hendrik V. der Coek and Cath.
		V. der Coek.  She mar. ICHABOD (__).

	    6.  MARYNUS VAN WINKLE, was bap. 5 June 1741 at Gansegat.  Wit.:

		b. 12 Mar. 1757, prob. at Gansegat, NJ, a son of Johannis
		Francisco and Aeltje Doremus.

	   10.  CORNELIA VAN DER COOK, was b. 9 July 1761 and bap. 13 Sept.
		1761 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany.  Wit.:  Jonas
		Oothout and wife, Elisabet Oothout.  On 1 May 1781 at the
		Reformed Dutch Church of Schaghticoke she mar. as his first wife
		ADAM OVERACKER, who was b. 27 June 1761 in Herkimer, NY, a son
		of Michael Overacker and Anna Barbara Stover.  Cornelia died
		prior to Jan. 1834, in which month Adam mar. as his second wife
		Patience Harrington Adams.  Adam died 14 Nov. 1842 in Grass
		Lake, Washtenaw Co., MI.
