NOTES:  Johann made his initial appearance on the Hunter Lists 1 July 1710 with
	2 persons over 10 years of age and 2 persons under 10 in the family.
	The entries changed to 3 persons over 10 years and 1 person under 10
	years on 24 June 1711 and then to 4 persons over 10 years on 25 March
	1712.  He and his family were in New York City in 1710/11 and
	naturalized, next to Gorg Chryselar, 8/9 Sept. 1715 according to
	Kingston, NY naturalization records.  He, his wife, and three children
	were living at Beckmansland about 1716/17.  Johann was a Palatine Debtor
	in 1718 and 1721 according to the Livingston Debt Lists.  About 1744 he
	was mentioned as living with the family of Hieronymus Kräusler in the
	Schoharie Valley.

    Notes:  On 7 Nov. 1752 Maria Margaretha mar. as her second husband Michel

 Children:  1.  ADAM CHRYSLER, had no birth or baptismal record, but in his
		claim for compensation as a United Empire Loyalist he stated
		that he was the eldest son.  On 10 July 1760 he mar. ANNA MARIA
		BRAUN.  Adam Crislar was a very active Tory, often referred to
		as the "notorious Adam Crislar" in the accounts of the raids he
		led on the Schoharie settlements.  He was granted land near
		present Kingston, Ontario, for his losses and for his services
		to the Crown.

	    2.  BALTHASAR CHRYSLER, had no birth or baptismal record.  On 12
		Feb. 1767 at the Reformed Church of Stone Arabia he mar.

	    3.  PHILIP CHRYSLER, had no birth or baptismal record.  On 19 Nov.
		1762 he mar. ELIZABETH BRAUN.  On 30 Oct. 1787 Philip Crislor,
		late of Tyron Co., NY, filed a claim for compensation in
		Ontario, Canada, as a United Empire Loyalist.

	    4.  ELIZABETH CHRYSLER, was b. "8 days after Easter" 1737 and bap.
		5 June 1737 at the Zion Lutheran Church of Loonenburg.  Wit.:
		Mich. Treymeyer and Lisabeth Berniger.

	    5.  CATHARINA CHRYSLER, had no birth or baptismal record.

	    6.  MARGARETHA CHRYSLER, was b. 6 Mar. 1743 at St. Paul's Lutheran
		Church of Schoharie.  Wit.:  Jacob Friederich Lawyer and

	    7.  JOHANNES CHRYSLER, was b. 18 Dec. 1744 at St. Paul's Lutheran
		Church of Schoharie.  Wit.:  Johannes Braun and his wife.  On 8
		Mar. 1788, John Crysler, late of Tyron Co., NY, filed a claim as
		a United Empire Loyalist.

	    8.  WILHELM CHRYSLER, was b. 10 Nov. 1746 and bap. 16 Nov. 1746 at
		St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Schoharie.  Wit.:  Johann Wilhelm
		Bauch and his wife.

	    9.  MARIA CHRYSLER, was b. (__) Oct. 1748 and bap. 6 Nov. 1748 at
