NOTES: John was born at 12:20 P.M. at Rochester General Hospital. He attended
St. Margaret Mary's Grammar School (1963-1971); Bishop Kearney High
School (1971-1975); St John Fisher College (1975-1979, B.S. in
Chemistry); and finally Michigan State University (1979-1986), where he
graduated with a M.S. in Organic Chemistry (thesis title: Synthesis of
	Dipyrazolopentalene Derivatives).

In grammar school and high school he played in the band intially on
trumpet (1965-1969) and then was switched to baritone horn (1969-1975).
In high school he was fortunate enough to make 4 trips to Europe with
the band (they were the highlight of his high school years):

Freshman year: Dublin, Ireland (St. Patrick's Day Parade), and Rome, Italy
		(performance for Pope Paul VI).

Sophmore year: Dublin, Ireland (St. Patrick's Day Parade), and Rome, Italy
		(performance for Pope Paul VI).

Junior year: London, England, and Dublin, Ireland (St. Patrick's Day Parade).

Senior year: Florence, Italy (with a performance for Pope Paul VI in Rome),
and Nice, France (with a performance for the Royal Family of
		Monaco).

Since 1988 he have been employed with Chemical Abstracts Service with
the title of Associate Scientific Information Analyst. From the start
of his employment he has been a Marpat database builder. A web site
about this topic is located here with a picture of John (the tall one
in the middle of the second row)

In his spare time, he like to collect things: stamps, laser discs
(being quite the movie buff), small antiques and collectibles, and a
	whole lot of dust.

Oh yes, he also do a little family history research too :^)
