    Notes:  The will of John Harris, baker, of New York City, was dated 29 Aug.
	    1730.  In it he mentioned his wife Jane, daughters Elizabeth, Mary,
	    Catherine, wife of Rev. Ebenezer Pemberton, and Jane, wife of Gideon
	    Lynsen, and son John.  Executors were his wife, son John, and son-
	    in-law Ebenezer Pemberton.  Witnesses were Johannes Hyer, Edward
	    Gatehouse, and Richd. Nicholls.

	    The will of Jane Harris, widow, of New York City, was dated 3 Aug.
	    1739.  In it she mentioned her son John, daughters Jane, wife of
	    Gideon Lynsen, Catherine, wife of Ebenezer Pemberton, Elizabeth and
	    Mary, William Smith, son of Daughter Catherine Pemberton.  She made
	    mention of a lot "in the Commons of New York City, near the
	    Freshwater," as well as other personal property.  Executors were
	    David Abeel and Richard Ray.  Witnesses were Peter Zenger, Jesse
	    Defforeest and Henry Defforeest.

	    All children were baptised at the Reformed Dutch Church of New York.

		as her second husband the Rev. EBENEZER PEMBERTON, D.D.

	    4.  MARIA HARRIS, was bap. 24 Sept. 1707.  Wit.:  Gerret Burger and
		Saartje, "s.h. vrou."  She died young.

	    5.  JOHANNES HARRIS, was bap. 12 Sept. 1708.  Wit.:  Pieter Burger
		and Catharina, "s:huys vrou."  He died young.

	    6.  JOHANNES HARRIS, was bap. 2 Dec. 1709.  Wit.:  Pieter Burger and
		Maria Goederes.

	    7.  JASPER HARRIS, was bap. 8 June 1712.  Wit.:  Adriaan Man and
		Jannetje Wessels.  He prob. died young as he was not mentioned
		in his father's will.

	    8.  ELIZABETH HARRIS, was bap. 5 Jan. 1715.  Wit.:  Dirk Bensen and
		Catharina Van Deurse.  She mar. the Rev. SILAS LEONARD.  Silas
		was deceased as of 19 June 1769, when on that date land about
		two miles below New Windsor, Orange Co., NY, adjoining the
		Hudson River was placed for sale by his executors Elizabeth and
		Silas Leonard.

	    9.  MARIA HARRIS, was bap. 8 Dec. 1717.  Wit.:  Jan Men and Jannetje
		Herres.  The will of Mary Harris of Goshen Precinct, Orange Co.,
		NY, dated 13 Jan. 1741/42 and proved 3 Mar. 1741/42, mentioned
		her brother John Harris, sisters Catherine, Elizabeth Leonard,
		children of dec.d sister Jane Lynsen, nieces Mary Leonard and
		Jane Leonard, as well as real estate, houses and lots in New
		York City, a large house at the corner of Stone Street, near the
		Old Slip, and personal property including, a silver tankard, a
		silver cup, a silver large spoon, six silver teaspoons, three
		gold rings, a gold necklace, a pair of gold buttons, and two
		gold earrings.  Executors were brother-in-law Rev. Eabenezer
		Pemberton and Rev. Silas Leonard.  Witnesses were William ffinn,
		Daniel Everett, and John Stephenson.
