NOTES:  Claas was living in Beverwyck in 1652 as a servant.  In 1666 he was one
	of the eight original petitioners for the Patent of Kinderhook.

    Notes:  Hendrick owned a house lot adjoining easterly the parsonage lot of
	    the Reformed Dutch Church of Schenectady. At the time of his death,
	    he owned half of two mills at Schodack, four lots on Schodack
	    Island, and a lot in Schenectady.  Hendrick's estate was
	    administered on 7 April 1695 by his brother Andries Gardenier and
	    brother-in-law Cornelis Claasz Van den Bergh, who owned the other
	    half of the two mills on Schodack.

 Children:  1.  CLAAS GARDENIER, had no birth or baptismal record and was prob.
		b. in 1681.  On 13 Aug. 1713 at the Reformed Dutch Church of
		Albany he mar. RACHEL WINNE, who was bap. 8 Aug. 1690 at the
		Reformed Dutch Church of New York (wit.:  Brandt Schulyer and
		Catharina Van Cortlandt), a dau. of Adam Winne and Anna
		Loockerman.  They resided in Albany.  Claas' will was written 1
		June 1756 and proved 11 Apr. 1759.  In it he called himself a
		farmer of the "Mohax River" and mentioned his sons Hendrick,
		Jacob, Samuel, Andries, Adam, and daughters Rebdka de Garmo,
		Neelty van Falkburgh, Anneke Van Alstyn, Sara de Garmoo, and
		Ragel Quackenboss, and wife Ragel.  He owned land at Schodack
		Island and on the Mohawk River.

            2.  ANDRIES GARDENIER, had no birth or baptismal record and was
		prob. b. in 1685.  On 22 Aug. 1714 at the Reformed Dutch Church
		of Albany he mar. SARA VAN WOERT, who was bap. 1 Aug. 1697 at
		the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany (wit.:  Jan Fonda and Debora
		Van Dam), a dau. of Jacob Teunisz Van Woert and Anna
		Loockermans.  Andries was listed as a Dutchess county
		householder in 1714, in the Lower Livingston Manor.  He was
		listed as a member of the manor militia in 1715.  In his will,
		dated 2 May 1760 and proved 20 Nov. 1787, he mentioned his dau.,
		Neeltje, wife of Johannes Marcelis.

	    3.  HENDERIK GARDENIER, was bap. 18 Aug. 1686 at the Reformed Dutch
		Church of Albany (wit.:  Cornelis Van Den Berg, and carried by
		Cornelia Roos.  He died young.

	    4.  JOSYNA GARDENIER, was bap. (as LYNTJE) 3 Nov. 1691 at the
		Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston.  Wit.:  None.  On 31 Dec.
		1715 at the Reformed Dutch Church of Albany she mar. her cousin
		ANDRIES GARDENIER, who was bap. 22 Oct. 1693 at the Reformed
		Dutch Church of Albany (wit.:  Jan Hendricksz and Jacomyntje
		Maasz), a son of Andries Gardenier and Eytie Ariaanse.

            5.  HENDRICK GARDENIER, was bap. 11 Mar. 1694 at the Reformed Dutch
		of Albany.  Wit.:  Willem Gysbertsz, Cornelis Claasz Van den
		Berch, and Susanna Ouwerkerk.  On 30 May 1718 at the Reformed
		Dutch Church of Albany he mar. as her first husband MARGRIET
		(MARGARETA) VAN WOERT, who was bap. 21 July 1700 at the Reformed
		Dutch Church of Albany (wit.:  Jan Jansz Bleyker and Grietje
		Bleyker), a dau. of Jacob Teunisz Van Woert and Anna
		Loockermans.   Hendrick died prior to 8 Jan. 1738, on which date
		Margriet mar. as her second husband Samuel Weiler.
